Kokua ministry

The Kokua Ministry is a "food pantry" that distributes non-perishable groceries and other basic supplies to homes for families due to loss of job/layoffs or are financially unable to purchase adequate food due to recent hardships. Food is purchased through the Hawaii Food Bank with donations received from individuals or church support. Every 1st Saturday of the month, Kokua Ministry distributes food to families at Calvary Chapel Pearl Harbor. Every last Saturday of the month, they distribute food to families at Manana Park in Pearl City. The Kokua Ministry also participates in the annual Hawaii Food Bank Hunger Walk that is normally held in August.
