Sports Ministry...
CCPH Sports Ministry has two-fold purpose:

  1. Bringing the body of Christ together through sports for a time of competition, fellowship and accountability.
  2. That the gospel of Jesus Christ can be shared through personal witnessing and Christian example when engaging in a sporting activity.

The sports ministry is open to both believers and unbelievers as it is our desire to use every opportunity to share the love of Jesus Christ.

CCPH sports ministry is currently involved in a basketball and softball league, with the addition of volleyball in the near future.

REACH 3-Day Basketball Clinics

  1. VISION

The vision of the REACH Ministry is Outreach using basketball as a means, a bridge for reaching our generation of youth for Jesus Christ.  Because the sport of basketball is a universal language, it is our prayer and vision that God would use REACH locally, domestically and into the whole world.

  1. PURPOSE

The REACH Ministry has a two-fold purpose:

  1. Sports

Helping and assisting those participating in the 3-day clinic to excel individually and in a team situation through teaching the fundamentals of basketball.

  1. Spiritual

To instruct, encourage and minister spiritual life skills that will inform and invite those participating in the clinic to see beyond the temporary cares of this life to the eternal.  This is done through testimonials, team bonding (coach, team and player interaction), one on one opportunities and a short message with an invitation to receive Christ at the conclusion of the clinic.

  1. VALUES

REACH is an Outreach Ministry that is centered in Jesus Christ emphasizing service through Christ-like example, leadership, discipleship and love, caring for and making every individual participating in the REACH clinic a priority to the glory of God.

REACH’S Scripture verse is Philippians 3:13-14 – “Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.   

The REACH Ministry concluded its fifth season doing 3-Day basketball clinics on Oahu, 4th year on Kauai, 2nd year on the island of Maui, on the Mainland, 3rd year in Bend, Oregon, 2nd year in Newark, New Jersey and 1st year in Roanoke, Virginia.
