Our History
Calvary Chapel Pearl Harbor started Palm Sunday 1994. We started as a Pearl City Home Fellowship from Calvary Chapel Honolulu and God has blessed us remarkably!   Around Christmas of that same year, we moved into our new location, an old Sack & Save Supermarket! "But now it has become a seek and save supermarket!" Kind of poetic since our Pastor Derald was originally from Raul Ries' flock which met for years in an old West Covina supermarket. On June 15, 2005, God moved us into our new facility in the Waipio Shopping Center. As our work continues in the Waipio area, God continues to bless us remarkably! Our first service at our new facility was on Sunday, June 19, 2005 - Father's Day!

Pastor Derald Skinner After serving as an Associate Pastor under Pastor Raul Ries and Pastor Bill Stonebraker, Pastor Derald Skinner felt the calling on his life to branch off in the direction of Pearl City. Unbeknownst to him, Calvary Chapel Pearl City soon grew and became Calvary Chapel Pearl Harbor. Currently, Pastor Derald is the Sr. Pastor of Calvary Chapel Pearl Harbor at our new location of just 2 years in the Waipio Shopping Center. God has done tremendous things in our church growth and we know HE is just beginning!!!
