About Amped

Pastor Austin Araki with his wife, Kristin, and children, Ezekiel and Everly.

Vision:

“One thing I have desired of the Lord, that will I seek: That I may dwell in the house of the Lord All the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to inquire in His temple.”  Psalm 27:4

Our Primary focus in AMPED Youth Ministry is discipleship, because God is real and understandable through the study of His Word!

We challenge the youth to seek God above all else...
                                                there is no better life than whole-heartedly pursuing Christ!!

As a part of the body of Christ AMPED will follow the vision of God, through Pastor Derald, at CCPH.

Then the Lord answered me and said:

“Write the vision

And make it plain on tablets,

That he may run who reads it.

For the vision is yet for an appointed time;

But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie.

Though it tarries, wait for it;

Because it will surely come,

It will not tarry.

AMPED’s complete purpose is to:

1.     Teach the Word of God.

Hebrews 4:12 “For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” 2 Timothy 2:9-10 “…but the word of God is not chained. Therefore I endure all things for the sake of the elect, that they also may obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.”

2.     Pray by/for the power of the Holy Spirit.

James 5:16 “Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.” 2 Thessalonians 1:11-12“Therefore we also pray always for you that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfill all the good pleasure of His goodness and the work of faith with power, 12 that the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and you in Him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.”

3.     Fellowship with the Body of Christ.

Hebrews 10:24-25 “And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, 25not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.“ 1 John 4:7 “But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.”
